PHOTOS: Ever dream about a hunky shirtless gardener watering your lawn? A Los Angeles photographer Jonathan Sirand turned that dream into a reality with his new book, In the Backyard, featuring a menagerie of handsome men lounging and working outdoors.
“I bought a used SLR off Craigslist, found aspiring models and actors online, and had casual shoots over the summer of 2012,” Sirand tells Queerty. “I used a reoccurring theme of long johns simply because I enjoy the look and fit on the models. It’s sexy and enticing without being too provocative.”

I disagree that these are bad body images. Nobody here is emaciated… Many of us are naturally skinny ectomorphs, but most of these guys are not even ectomorphs – that you find them emaciated just goes to show how the gay clone image has been skewed by the unnatural steroid-enhanced HIV aesthetic.

Don’t know if I’d call them hunky. Half of them are just plain emaciated. Bad body images to be putting out there for young gay men.
