These guys are definitely sexier than most of the British models we’ve been having for breakfast recently Queerty, although to be fair they are rugby studs so I guess it’s to be expected.
BTW, don’t get the wrong impression over #5 – rugby players aren’t your typical jock: they tend to be somewhat uninhibited, and far less paranoid about being labelled as “queer” – something to do with a sport where only tough guys survive I guess. Unlike soccer players, they don’t need to constantly reaffirm their masculinity.

I love it. I love the playfulness, the realness of the photo’s. These photographs take us beyond gay-straight, beyond homophobia to a world where guys can be comfortable with each other, playful and even affectionate. The photos seem to capture a bond, a love between these guys. It would be so nice if the world was more this way. There would be much less homophobia and fear of those of us who are gay.

Forgive me for not falling in lust with these gentlemen. While my comment was a bit harsh, it’s not like I said they were ugly. I realize that some like the “Average Joe” kind of guy more than the ultra-hot body and face, but my opinion is different. Calling me a jackass was unnecessary.

Love British boys! My favorite (favourite) is the one with the necklace and bracelets. Adorable! My only qualm is that they’ve all trimmed their bushes. Oh, and yeah, the socks, qualm number 2.

I’ve played rugby too. Nothing finer than scrumming with seven other sweaty men with thighs like tree trunks in the forward pack. I particularly liked the chances I had to play one of the lock positions. The pretty gazelles were in the back positions. They could run and twist and turn, but were easily damaged when a bull from the opposing forward pack abruptly stopped their forward momentum. Rugby tends to break down fears of close physical contact due to scrums, mauls, rucks, and lineouts. American football is such a sissy sport with all the pads and the stop and go play that allows everyone to catch their breath, and why separate defensive and offensive players on a team.

I love the relaxed sexuality of male rugby players, whether their heterosexual, bisexual or whatever. They’re far more relaxed about themselves and others than the whiny, narcissistic metrosexual from Greenwich Village.

I think personally, the pics are rubbish. The socks dangling are really stupid and detract from the whole nature of the project. We have just done our own ‘Cafe & Bakery Boys’ calendar for a testicular cancer charity. Natural naked poses with relaxed and authentic to the pic items hiding the willies – for example, holding a box of cakes. The idea is to look natural whilst hiding the modesty. NOT just hanging around nude in unnatural poses.

@ Miles– cuz the site is free, and they pay for it with ads– and when they go to sell ad space, they have to say “we get x number of clicks per hour”. It’s a pain, but would you pay to be here?

I wonder if those guys ever thought previously they’d be using their socks in that fashion. If I didn’t know it was a calendar I might have thought it was a reality show called something like “College Rugby behaving badly”. Gotta have a sense of humor about these things…..

If these are “average” looking guys then the world must be a very pretty place. Not sure on what planet these guys are considered “average”. I live in NYC and these men are hotter than 95% of the guys out and about.

The guy in the forefront on pic 1 and holding the camera on pic 18 is the hottest one. I also like the beardy blonde guy at the bottom of the pyramid. :D

@Rob Moore: LOL…I wouldn’t have imagined I’d live to hear someone call American Football a sissy sport. I hope you’re on the eastern side of the pond. I wouldn’t express such sacrilegious views in the West too loudly.

@Chuck: I would strenuously echo your sentiments. The bearded blonde seems to appear in several photos. Regarding the hunky guy in the forefront in pic#1, I would have liked to have seen his hair tousled and/or wet. With that adjustment, his sitting there wouldn’t have looked so posed or artificial. Also the Coppertone pose of the other guy in pic# 18 is cute.

#15 has peen, and red nail polish. Fun.

Sexy and fun.
Eh, they’re OK, I guess… Nowhere near as hot as the guys on the Dieux du Stade calendars though.

No. 5 · michael : I agree, though they need to lose the socks. :)
Republican: Jackass they are college kids did you read? they are still developing and they look amazing!
Funny, I never used to have a sock fetish……………..
And PS: REPUBLICAN Knew the BOQB would have to put their two cents in…………I PLISS: Bravo!
Terrwill,
I am not bitter, old, or part of a brigade. As for whether I’m a queen, opinions vary.
I Pliss,
Forgive me for not falling in lust with these gentlemen. While my comment was a bit harsh, it’s not like I said they were ugly. I realize that some like the “Average Joe” kind of guy more than the ultra-hot body and face, but my opinion is different. Calling me a jackass was unnecessary.
i loved #13, 15, 19. great shots.
i love these kind of amateur pic shots. so free and full of energy.
I love this average-joe look. Much nicer for me than the waxed zombie look. And the joy and fun between them is wonderful, beyond sexuality.
Adorable.
#18 with the Camera is the bees knees.
You have to love rugby guys…their looks, sure, but they are so natural and unthreatened. Like someone said, so different from soccer ladies.
O-M-G The guy in front, #5
eh, I dunno….it’s like the rest of the world….some guys are hot..some not…case in point pic #14.
As for the rugby angle, it’s something, but I’ve played rugby and lived to tell about it.
all in all, the goodlooking ones stand out because they are truly good looking whereas the rest get a pass for being young.
so yes, I’d fuck them all, but for different reasons.
hot man, hot. the front one has a stiffy.
he got a stiffy in this one too. theyre all lookin at it
hillarious…they locked him out cause of his stiffy
I need to transfer to that university.
The guy bending over in pic 18 is the far left one in pic 1? I must marry him.
The guy on the left look like David A. :P
Love British boys! My favorite (favourite) is the one with the necklace and bracelets. Adorable! My only qualm is that they’ve all trimmed their bushes. Oh, and yeah, the socks, qualm number 2.
I loved every pic. Especially the chubby guys. Excellent choice Queerty.

I went to the other Sheffield university. They didn’t look like this.
That is one sweet and serious booty call.
My gaydar went “tilt” looking at these guys, who knows!???
DAMN.
I mean to say … DAMN.
HEY WHAT HAPPENED TO PIC #8?
I love the relaxed sexuality of male rugby players, whether their heterosexual, bisexual or whatever. They’re far more relaxed about themselves and others than the whiny, narcissistic metrosexual from Greenwich Village.

Does anyone know why Queerty won’t create thumbnails or at the very least respond to the numerous request to do so? Their photos are annoying!
@ Miles– cuz the site is free, and they pay for it with ads– and when they go to sell ad space, they have to say “we get x number of clicks per hour”. It’s a pain, but would you pay to be here?
I would just work my way down the bench in #1
He needs a better ruler
Fuck….im about to transfer colleges!
The last pic is my fave I think. The guy in the underwear is hot and the underwear choice is a good one.
They’re hot and all that, but if it’s not in a hardcore porn movie, i’d preffer them dressed up.
I don’t know, i guess im just used to the male body, i don’t think it’s that fun to watch this guys going around with a sock in their cocks.
Besides, to me it’s funnier to see boys getting undressed than undressed guys getting their clothes back on.
I wonder if those guys ever thought previously they’d be using their socks in that fashion. If I didn’t know it was a calendar I might have thought it was a reality show called something like “College Rugby behaving badly”. Gotta have a sense of humor about these things…..
i lived in sheffield for 20 years. out for three of those….how did i not see these guys or the previous years guys? :(
Great to see!
If these are “average” looking guys then the world must be a very pretty place. Not sure on what planet these guys are considered “average”. I live in NYC and these men are hotter than 95% of the guys out and about.
@Chadboy: It’s true. Even Seinfeld observed that 95% of the world is undateable.
Nice to look at but I have to say I’m looking forward to the day when a more natural looks for pubes comes back into style.
HAHAHAHA, 17 is really funny :D , i like it
The guy in the forefront on pic 1 and holding the camera on pic 18 is the hottest one. I also like the beardy blonde guy at the bottom of the pyramid. :D
In pic#1, the guy sitting nearest the camera person catches my eye. Kind of hunky. Reminds me of Kurtz’s boyfriend on Glee.
