Best still has to by Marky Mark’s Calvin ad. Love that face as he grabs his crotch. Hot!
I always thought it criminal that they routinely airbrush the bugles out of mainstream underwear ads, especially in the 70s and 80s.
“A few bare inches of smooth, supple, shape-showing maleness.”
I just gayed all over the place.
@Meowzer: I agree about Marky Mark! He was such a babe!
The under flair model was Jack Scalia a famous model in late 70s. Oh, where have all the hairy chests gone!
@rand503: Yeah, I kind of miss the days when there were male models who looked like they could chop firewood and not shriek and pass out if they broke a nail.
Marky Mark can’t hold a candle to Jack Scalia. That’s a man not a boy…and HOT HOT HOT
HOW could you NOT include Antonio Sabato Jr. ??!!
Those Jim Palmer ads were hot back in the day. Also, I remember some calssmates of mine brought a Sports Illustrated on bus (70s) and there was an ad for underwear, and the guy had a VERY noticeable bulge. I stuck straight OUT! I can still remember it was a pair of yellow briefs (possibly speedo type). Can anyone help me find that ad? Thanks
Most of these guys are all sexier than Bekham.
Jack Scalia, as I recall, was a close friend of Rock Hudson.
Jim Palmer was special because his ads ran in Time and Newsweek when practically every household received either one or both.
I loved the Europants models.
