PHOTOS: Nearly 800 WA Couples Received Marriage Licenses On First Day. Meet Some Of Them

PHOTOS:
Clerks at marriage bureaus across the state of Washington issued more than 769 licenses  yesterday, the first day same-sex couples could apply for marriage licenses. Obviously not all of them were gay couples, but it’s still a beautiful thing.

Below, view some of the happy pairs who are on their way to the altar.

Because of the state’s three-day waiting period, the first day anyone can wed is Sunday. But we’re gonna wish an early “mazel tov” to all of them!
