As the old adage goes, whatever happens in Vegas stays in Vegas and if the city’s new tourism ads are to be believed, there’s a lot of same-sex sinning happening in Sin City. Along with some mild straight sight-seeing.
The tagline for the tongue-in-cheek ads read, “Everyone’s welcome. Even straight people.” To wit, each gay scenario features a hapless, and woefully attired, hetero couple enjoying the man and/or lady candy.
As to be expected — since it’s something that exists on the internet — the ads have already generated a bit of controversy, for either stereotyping the gays or “mocking” the straights.
But, hey, it’s Vegas. What do you expect, subtlety?
Dumb phuckers can’t even produce good copy with a ridiculous ad budget apparently.
Let’s see here let’s mock all the straits that built Vegas into what it while we depict
stereotyped lecherous gays. Good thinking Homer; alienate two groups in one easy swoop.
That’ll bring the crowds in dumass.

@ho: Ware da hell did U lern to spel? (I typed it that way so you’d understand it.) Phuckers obviously spelled wrong, but also strai(GH)ts… “into what it *(IS)* while… dum(B)ass. Good thing you didn’t write the copy!

Clever ad campaign, until you get there and you realize that everyone there are drunk obnoxious redneck str8t people… . No.2 ho would be a perfect example of your typical str8t in Vegas.

Hilarious…considering 3 months ago my bf and I were called fags repeatedly for holding hands on the strip. Ohh well…doubt ads will curtail small town minds who often flock to Las Vegas.
