So when Fox announced it was set to remake the classic tale of extraterrestrial sexual discovery, we were naturally curious who would play “Rocky” to Laverne Cox‘s “Frank-n-Furter.”
Well now we have our answer, which comes in the form of 6″1’ Staz Nair. The gorgeous actor/musician is of Russian and Indian decent, and we simply can’t wait to see him in a gold speedo.

I’ve actually never seen Laverne Cox in anything but, Laverne Cox as “Frank-n-Furter” is immediately dismissible. The only thing about this project that sounds remotely interesting is Reeve Carney as Rif-Raff
I suppose the thinking by Lou Adler is that nothing can possibly hurt the continuing attraction of the original.

This remake has failure written all over it. Laverne Cox as Dr Frank-N-Furter? No! The doctor is a male transvestite (Cox is a transgender woman). And the doctor sings in a male voice. How the hell could Cox do that? HORRIBLE CASTING.
