PHOTOS: New York’s Imperial Court honored GLAAD with its annual fundraising event of sequins and bugle beads as far as the eye can see — Night of a Thousand Gowns.
Pop queen Taylor Dane told it to everyone’s hearts and Chad Michaels from RuPaul’s Drag Race and Aviva Drescher from Real Housewives of New York had a kiki with the queens and other assorted royalty.
The evening benefited both GLAAD and the GMHC, which provides prevention and care services to men, women and families that are living with, or affected by, HIV/AIDS.
Radio host Elvis Duran, of the nationally syndicated Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, was honored by the Imperial Court with its Imperial Diamond Award for his strong support of LGBT causes since coming out in 2010.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
Now, onto the gowns! Get ready for more queens than a drag deck of cards, hunty.

A smattering of subtle headpieces
But they all pale in comparison to this
It was the Imperial Court after all, someone had to get crowned
