GRATUITOUS SKIN — We studied these photos of Noah Lincoln, looking for some sort of flaw. Here’s what we came up with: He’s not soaking wet in all of them. (Photos: Joel Larson, J. Boettner)

How did a real man get on this site?

Perfect. The only thing that would make it better, IMHO, is if his chest wasn’t shaved/waxed down to a glossy sheen. And yeah, it’s always possible that he’s that way naturally…but I kinda doubt it. Given his facial hair, he almost certainly has chest hair, too.

That being said…why do they do that so much in model pics? There’s a lot of guys and girls who find chest hair attractive. Is it because a shaved body highlights the musculature and skin more?

@drresol: Yes: shaved (and tanned, for that matter) bodies do indeed highlight musculature more than hairy ones. You’ll never see someone in a body-building competition with a hair chest: it puts them at a disadvantage.

This says nothing about whether a hairy chest is sexier, of course!

Gorgeous. And thus, as usual, not nearly enough bulge shots.

@James P. P.:

It’s a mixture of personal taste, and, the particular guy involved. At least that’s my experience. When I was in high school, I wasn’t that big a fan of chest hair. But…my first boyfriend in freshman year of college…he had a very hairy chest. Even though that look wasn’t my cup o’ tea at the time, I fell hard for this guy and was with him for a long time. Ever since, my tastes have shifted and I now find myself attracted to a guy with some hair on the chest. Maybe my encounter with BF#1 opened my mind…maybe hairy chests now remind me of him on a subconscious level…who knows?

It’s interesting to theorize what might influence peoples’ tastes and attractions. My dad was hairy…is it possible I’m attracted to a guy who(subconsciously) reminds me of my father, in the same way that it’s said straight guys are often attracted to women who (subconsciously) remind them of their mother? Who knows…just glad the human race has such variety to accommodate everyone.

The guy is hot, I like pic 11 the rest are all kind boring. Chest hair or no chest hair, I always love it when we get to see photo’s of the models both ways. Its all a matter of taste and personally I like both, except on twinks with girly bodies, then the lack of hair just makes em look that much more like a girl.

Cute face but no butt shots generally means flat ass. I pass.
