PHOTOS: Scruffy Hunk Warren K. Carlyle IV Embodies “The New Masculinity”

warren-k-carlyle-iv1

PHOTOS: Talk about grate expectations. Shot by Texas-based photographer Cody Kinsfather, “Industrial Series: The New Masculinity” captures Warren K. Carlyle IV writhing around a factory, lit in moody blues. With the industrial setting and Warren’s sexy scruff, these photos perfectly illustrate Kinsfather’s themes. Plus, Warren’s gorgeous chest hair and beard serve as a reminder that it’s still Movember and just how naughty it is to be au natural. Check out the photos below.

@balehead: @ouragannyc: god you both suck.

I don’t see how having a hairy body is the “new” masculinity but it sure is masculine in my book.

Nobody that hairy simply has their hair stop growing at the bottom of their pecs to better show off their abs.

He shaves his abs. It’s grotesque. Either shave it all or not, but don’t let pec hair grow and shave your abs.

I don’t understand their concept of new masculinity. Are they saying it is new because it is less masculine? I find the shaved abs comical I don’t understand how our Pee Wee fan Large Marge sees it as grotesque. The Elephant Man is grotesque. The guy in the photo just looks like another pretty gay boy/girl striking a pose and making bad man-scaping choices.

Not masculine in the least, but to each his own

I have seen/met him in person a few times before and ‘masculine’ isn’t a word I’d consider high in his limited vocabulary

Look, the batting average for body hair is so bad for photos like these, I’ll take what I can get– even if it is poorly manscaped. (and it is). He is beautiful. Not Mr. Macho, unless the new Masculinity includes skinny lattes and yoga panties… but he is very beautiful.

      boring

Pretty sure “The New Masculinity” is a dude completely comfortable in his own skin regardless of chest and/or facial hair, which has been The Old Masculinity for the last CENTURY.

@Large Marge: I dunno, my hair pattern is exactly the same. Hairy chest that stop right at my pecs, then a thin center trail that leads down to a smaller patch around my belly button, with nothing in-between.

Why would you bother to shave your upper abs and then leave hair all around your lower ones? You wouldn’t.
