Queerty is better as a member
Only in high fashion can people be paid $1,000 an hour and look so pissed off!
I would love to fit into these sizes and look as amazing as these men. Wow!
Really nice collection all around. I really have so much love and respect for Cyndi Lauper. She does a lot of good for the LGBT community esp. the trans-community.God bless her.
wow, love to see when styles come back. i used to wear see thru shirts. that was in 1970
What is this? Fashion for elves?
A couple of these are clearly from the Derelicte show last fall.
@jwrappaport: Yes, and all of the models have nailed “Blue Steel.”
How does fashion care? I know they had items you could bid on, but to advertise your collection during a charity event doesnt say you care about anything but your own pockets. Meh. Plus Ralph Lauren is a sponsor and outsourcing is not a sign of caring. Not trying to be a negative nelly, I just wish there were some other way to get to the wealthy gay demographic to care about others besides than bribing them with shiny burberry coats, pretty men, and disengenuine EXCHANGES. Charity is when you give without getting back. Giving money to get a vacation/piece of art/w.e. with a percentage going to JeffereyCares, who then uses that percentage to give to the varying organizations it supports and no doubt help pay for the party is not charity. There’s not even mention of what the organization is about on here. Just models and clothes which I guess is the point of it all?
Pardon the errors. I just woke up and shouldnt be typing while angry, sleepy, and hungry :)
There were are few nice looks and individual pieces, but overall as a collection, meh. A lot of very feminine looks too. Gay men do not want to look like women! Well, most of them anyway.
Is this really a charity?? Where does the money go??
Probably likes the Aids Ride..with all the money going to pay for someone’s Vacations/Shopping trips again…
@JustinMar: Unfortunately that seems to be the way of upscale charity events. But I like pretty much everything you just said.
