Happy Father’s Day! Otherwise known as the day the most collect calls are made in America.
Modern families are popping up all across America, much to the chagrin of folks like the Southern Baptist Convention and Rick Santorum. The number of same-sex couples raising children rose from 8 percent in 2000 to 19 percent in 2009. There are nearly two million LGBT parents in America already, and the number continues to climb.

Stop being such prudes on here. HashTags help share the pics to the world. With out them no one would see them unless you had 1,000’s of followers. They also help put your picture in the viewing category you want them. There is nothing wrong with using them. That’s what they’re there for.

@Ladbrook: I’m with you. Just a few years younger. I didn’t really have my act together until I was 40 to properly support a child. All during that time, having a kid wasn’t really an option or a consideration.

Lovely inspiring photos. Who could possibly have a problem with two loving parents who happen to be of the same gender?
As for me, I never wanted children and yes, I do believe its much better to have them when you are younger. Things get more complicated as you get older and physically you don’t have the same energy.
