You might recall a month ago
when we wrote about Lithuanian filmmaker Romas Zabarauskas (pictured, far right with actor Denisas Kolomyckis), who offered naked photos to anyone who donates to his Kickstarter. The project is called You Can’t Escape Lithuania, a story about two young people on a dangerous queerish road trip.
Well, we’re close to the end of the campaign, and they’re oh so close to getting it funded: $16,000 of $20,000 requested.
As a little nudge to get donations in the last day, the filmmaker and his lead actor have both released nudie pics before the deadline. “I support Romas Zabarauskas’ movie in all-senses,” said Kolomyckis. “If my naked butt can help the film to reach its goal, I’m ready to do it! This ‘going naked’ (for the sake of art) campaign is a call to action for all those who believe that Eastern Europe needs to change and that LGBTQ rights should be respected everywhere.”
