This week, New York went on neon-pink alert as the queens of RuPaul’s All Stars Drag Race took bite out of the Big Apple. On Monday, Season Two (and Three) contestant Shangela stopped by Boxers to catch the show’s premiere and support her drag sister Manila Luzon, who hosts a viewing party there every week. It might be the World Series, but Luzon was showing some hometown pride with an adorable New York Jets jersey.
On Wednesday, Logo held a special East Coast premiere bash at XL with All-Star contestants Luzon, Latrice Royale (above) Yara Sofia, Alexis Mateo, Shannel, Mimi Imfurst, Pandora Boxx and Tammie Brown. Legendary dean of drag Lady Bunny kicked off the evening with a special DJ set, followed by performances by Hot Mess host Bianca Del Rio and XELLE.
