PHOTOS: The Queens Of RuPaul’s Drag Race Invade New York City

Season Four of RuPaul’s Drag Race is in full swing and New York City has drag fever all over again: On Friday, Manila Luzon, host at the weekly viewing party at Boxers, teamed up with real-life sweetie Sahara Davenport for a sickening bash at XL‘s Rockit party. The main room was packed with hot Hells Kitchen boys and drag-queen fans but Queerty/GayCities photoblogger Jeffrey James Keyes jumped in and caught performances by the show’s reigning queens and fan favorites, including Bebe Zahara Benet, Ongina, Tyra Sanchez, JuJuBee, Mimi Imfurst, Milan, Raja, Carmen Carrera, Jiggly Caliente (above) and Sharon Needles, who closed the night with a bloodbath bang.

Who will sashay away tonight? Catch Queerty’s recap tomorrow morning and find out!

When judging them by their drag performances outside of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” itself, I am not impressed with the majority of the winners. Bebe Zahara Benet aside, I just don’t feel that Tyra Sanchez or Raja should have won their respective seasons. Tyra’s makes a pretty lady, but she a horrible drag queen performance-wise. The same goes for Raja. I personally feel that Pandora Boxx and Manila Luzon should have won their seasons as they give great performances, both on the show and off.

After all the seasons, my heart still belongs to Miss Ongina and Miss Flowers.
