PHOTOS: Thomas Roberts, Don Lemon Attend NLGJA’s Headlines & Headliners Benefit

On Thursday, the National Lesbian and Gay Journalism Association held its annual New York benefit, Headlines & Headliners, sponsored by CNN and held at the Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams’ store in Soho. While a certain silver-haired fox was not in the house, big-name reporters and anchors like Meredith Vieira, Don Lemon, Frank Bruni, Sam Champion,  Thomas Roberts and Jonathan Capehart joined hosts Soledad O’Brien and Jane Velez-Mitchell for the event. Also on hand was James Clementi, whose  impassioned letter to his late brother, Tyler, made some headlines of its own recently when it ran in Out magazine.

Shannon, are you ok? You do realize Don Lemon is happily partnered. Are you happy though? You sound bitter.

It is quite clear that Shannon is in desperate need of a hug.

QUEERTY if you are going to feature slide shows, with numerous people, how about including their names with their photos? Especially if they weren’t NAMED in the accompanying article! So that we ALL know who they are!!
