MORNING GOODS — We usually think of bamboo as being hard, but the new line of bamboo-fiber underwear from menswear company Vizeau is soft to the touch. How this sexy model makes us feel, however, is another matter entirely. Enjoy!

Hot Asian model? Yay! Weird-fitting bikini-esque number in picture three? Not so much.

Wasn’t there something like a 50/50 chance he would have light-colored nipples?

@Aiden: You’re kidding. You can almost mistake him for a white guy in most of these pics. Take a look at pic 9.

Bamboo is a grass, so we can’t say he’s “sporting wood”.

He’s hot, but the problem with having sex with an asian guy is 30 minutes later your horny again…

Will the diversity-pimps ever be happy?

Queerty posts a white model, “OMGAWD this place is sooo whitewashed! Post moar men of coulour!”

Queerty posts a perfectly attractive Asian model, “OMGAWD not colored enough! He looks white in half the pictures!”

Would you prefer it if he were wearing a rice hat and thick-rimmed glasses, sporting buck teeth and a fu manchu ‘stache?

He is SO HOT, and yet the underwear is SO UGLY. The dissonance between the two is almost unbearable.

      @lando: “I guess he’s hot if you’re a rice queen”

So, if it was a photo of a black model would you say “I guess he’s hot if you have jungle fever”? WTF?

@Aiden: You seem to be polemical, not reasonable, because from what I’ve seen, Queerty is a pretty color conscious site.

@Retrosexual: Any references? The only time I read about people of color(black/Asian) on this is site is if it has to do with homophobia. Maybe you don’t really pay much attention to it.

@Aiden: It’s funny how you ask him for references when you didn’t give any yourself. If you want to play a holier-than-thou game about who notices color the most, you probably shouldn’t praise Queerty for posting pics of a very light brown Asian man.

Fine, I’ll bite because you’re being dreadfully obnoxious. I’ll admit that recently Queerty has offered more “men who aren’t white” for their morning goods recently but it was pretty much nonstop whiteytown before they discontinued Morning goods.

In the last ten morning goods, we’ve had two Asians, two vaguely brown people, one of them Hawaiian and the other Hispanic, two sets of different guys, all white with a token black, and then four sets of just white people. Then it’s all white people for the next 18 morning goods before we get another vaguely brown person. Then it’s all white people again.

So yea, his complaint is valid. Queerty has a history of featuring a type, and that’s muscular white guys who mostly don’t have body hair.

But it’s under new management! So maybe the trend will continue and we’ll get more variety. Men of different ethnic backgrounds. Thin men. Charming heavyset men. Women, trans models even.

But you can’t defend how diverse Morning Goods was because that was just never fact. (Also, this guy, sorta a butterface. High, sharp cheekbones + large lips + bushy eyebrows is a weird combination of delicate/butch and feminine/masculine.)

@Phil: Doesn’t Queerty just follow which model was viewed the most, gets the most hits, and then sticks with a similar type? That would seem logical. If a restaurant has a successful menu, do they really want to change the dishes that much?

That does nothing to counter my lack of diversity argument.

Pics #3,4,7,8.. Good to finally see an underwear campaign that recognizes that a good BUTT is an important part of an underwear ad.
