Pop diva Pink is the latest female celebrity to be labeled a “lesbian” as if it were a bad thing.
During a recent stop on her “Truth About Love Tour” in Sydney, Australia this weekend, the LGBT ally snatched a rainbow flag from a fan in the front row during her performance, and twirled around on stage with it before resting it around her neck for the remainder of the song.
Not everyone in the audience was impressed by the gesture of solidarity, so naturally, they launched a campaign on Twitter to defame the multi-Grammy winning artist by calling her “a lesbian.”
Pink responded:
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
Fun fact:when you twitter me and say "you're a lesbian" it really doesn't bother me at all. It's a compliment. Most of my fav ppl are, so…

I'm sure all of you hate filled humans can come up with something a little worse than that?!? Come on- be creative. You have 140 characters!

Questioning Pink’s dedication to the LGBT community is laughable. She’s gone on record with unwavering support for the community countless times, and even received the Ally for Equality Award at the HRC Dinner in 2010.

Bravo to Pink! She gave the best possible response to the idiots who think being called a lesbian is a bad thing.

I love P!nk. Her songs are fun, easy to dance/move to, and full of energy.

P!nk has written some of her biggest hits with out lesbian Linda Perry. Of course she doesn’t mind being called a lesbian.
