PM Brown Appoints Gay Adviser

Gordon Brown‘s making up for his piss poor gay rights voting record. The newly appointed (and pictured) British PM appointed openly homo-politico Spencer Livermore as his director of political strategy.

31-year old Livermore’s spent the first years of his young political life by Brown’s side: he acted as special adviser during Brown’s years as Chancellor of the Exchequer. A friend described Livermore thus, “He’s brilliantly clever, but also very engaging and charming – a good contrast to Gordon, who’s always very intense.” In addition to digging dude, Livermore’s apparently a “keen film fan”, which, of course, means nothing.
