Kai Hahner, a German politician and member of the Christian Democratic Union, emailed organizers of Leipzig’s Christopher Street Day festival threatening legal action for their promotion of homosexuality. These guys again!
“You may live as you like in private, but don’t disturb others with your abnormality,” Hahner wrote before getting into his rea problem with you queers: “Because of your public displays, homosexuality is now considered ‘trendy’. You entrap young people who are going through a phase where they are unsure of their sexuality.”
Who does this guy think he is, Moscow Mayor Yury Luzhkov?
L.
Maybe he should have a word with his boss Angela Merkel about that trendy guy she picked as deputy Chancellor.

Do a google search for Kai Hahner and you will find very little, with most of what you do find in German, with a sizable portion of it about his faux pas.
Let’s just say that this is not someone of any significance. My guess is that Angela Merkel heard of him only after he became QUEERTY fodder.

Your headline is again confusing. I wouldn’t say that he ‘congratulated’ them at all. Sarcasm does not translate well through text. Just my two cents. Can you try to avoid the confusion please?
Andrew
Yes, you know, falling out with half of my family and having the ‘Faggot’ word still ringing through my ears from my Grandmother, — it certainly must be trendy! Who wouldn’t want to be Gay?
Forget the Umbrella-It's Raining Men!
In 1939 the article have read as follows:
Adolf Hitler, a German politician and member of the National Socialist Party, telegraphed organizers of Leipzig’s Hebrew Day festival threatening legal action for their promotion of Judaism. These guys again!
“You may live as you like in private, but don’t disturb others with your inferior race,” Hitler wrote before getting into his real problem with you Jews: “Because of your public displays, being Jewish is now considered ‘trendy’. You entrap young people who are going through a phase where they are unsure of their Aryan supremacy.”
