This poll has been conducted numerous times since Prop 8 by numerous different outlets, sampling many more than just 900 people. And in each poll, a large margin (all near or exceeding 60%) favor marriage equality. So yes…California HAS indeed evolved on the issue….and quick! Just comparing the state’s results in 2000 gay marriage ballot to 2008 is indicative of how much insreasing support the marriage equality side gathers year by year in this state.

The article didn’t say anything about black and hispanic voters, who voted in large numbers for prop. 8.

oh yeah im sure asking 800 out of almost 40 million CA residents is going to result in an accurate poll
