Oh, make no mistake – it has a valid place in terms of being disposable pop culture, but pretending it’s anything more than that is just as absurd as trying to claim one is better than the other.

@boring: That is a steaming pile of bullshit. Just because an artist is popular/has some top 40 hits does not make them equally talented (or untalented) as every other person who happens to be a pop singer/band + to broad-brush an entire group like that is as elitist as it is bogus. Not to mention, Boyz II Men are not even pop as much as they are R + B. Justin Bieber is not anywhere near their league.
