Aden and Jordan Jeric are both porn stars. They are on-again off-again boyfriends. And those are not their real names. They were judging a drag queen contest in Portland but got too drunk and one allegedly ended up slamming the other in the head with a paper weight. So, the wedding’s off?
Who knows what really started the fight, but the blogs say Aden allegedly hit Jordan in the head, “leaving him with an enormous, swollen wound.” The police were called, whereupon Jordan promptly began hitting himself in the face so he could claim Aden hit him. Wonderful. Aden was arrested, released, and earned himself a court date.
Says Aden in a statement: “If he wouldnt have thrown me to the ground and fucked up my knee and hand it wouldnt have happened. I guess thats what happens when you fuck me the night before and all the next day and then say to not say anything because his new man wouldnt be ok with it, he didnt want him to find out and took it out on me, i protected myself. stop cheating…. didnt you learn that with me?”
Says Jordan on Twitter: “Aden is delusional and I was going to keep this incident private because nothing good will come out of talking shit, look inward…”

the comments here (as well as the story itself) really indicate the level of shaming and judging our society gets into. These guys got drunk, got abusive, and got vindictive with each other, which happens with couples gay and straight across our country (hell, the world) all the time. These guys also used to make money making porn. The public offers them both adoration (for some secretly, of course, which might make that subset even more critical “after the fact”) AND exoneration (because the couple made a profit doing what many of us, whether we admit it or not, fantasize about doing). SO because of that past dubious/envious fame, the “journalists” and “general public” both feel entitled to be snarky about the couple in question. Add to that the whole “drag queen contest” angle, which is probably added to increase the “tackiness” of the incident…and is more internalized homophobia/misogyny (“well, i’m gay and all, but at least i don’t get drunk and watch men dress up as women, so i must be better than these guys who were attractive enough to make money having sex”)….yet, RuPaul has made a national brand with DRAG RACE and DRAG U (yes, many tune in to make fun, and again shame/judge). All very ironical, yes?
