Power Shift.

Movement for Democratic Change’s Morgan Tsvangirai won Zimbabwe’s election this weekend by an apparent landslide. Hopefully this will bring some calm for the nation’s queers, whom Mugabe has targeted in recent years. And, even more hopefully, Tsvangirai will welcome them into the fold. [Pink News]

Excuse me! You will be accused of attempting a coup d’etat! The results WILL ONLY be announced OFFICIALLY by the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) and as of yet they have not yet been released.

Tsvangirai CLAIMED a landslide victory, and the security police said he was attempting a coup… so… watch out!

The whole of Southern Africa is anxiously awaiting the OFFICIAL (READ: Rigged) results!

So, keep your pants on!
