Perhaps in an effort to kick World Pride 2006 out of Jerusalem once and for all, someone distributed hundreds of leaflets offering a $4,500 reward to anyone who murders a World Pride participant. The leaflets were signed as the “Red Arm of Salvation,” but the group claims they had nothing to do with them.
What has now been deemed a “teenage prank” may have some disturbing consequences, for regardless of who sent out the leaflets, what is far more troublesome is who might pick them up and take the message to heart. It really only takes one crazy soul to hurt a lot of people.
