Pre-Marriage Life Tames Elton John

Elton John and David Furnish held their pre-wedding/hen/stag/bachelor party (whatever you want to call it) last night. Sure the event was held at a former strip club with shirtless waiters, but we expected much more from our favorite flamboyant pop star.

Is it possible he made up for all of the sedateness with an ultra-glam wardrobe?

Sir Elton, 58, was somewhat demure. He wore a sober turquoise suit, while his partner David Furnish, 53, whom he will marry tomorrow, sported a black sequined jacket.

Turquoise suit? Sequined jacket for David? All so very tame by Elton standards. Ho-hum.

Oh well. There’s always George Michael’s bachelor party next year. We just hope he goes with an “I Want Your Sex” theme.
