We’ve heard tales of Prince Harry’s pro-LGBTQ stance before, but now he and Duchess Meghan are making it official: On June 1, the royal couple posted an Instagram salute to Pride Month.
“For the month of June we ‘proudly’ shine a light on PRIDE,” reads the caption. “This month we pay tribute to the accounts supporting the LGBTQ+ community — those young and old, their families and friends, accounts that reflect on the past and are hopeful for a deservedly more inclusive future.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex add that they are “continuing with our tradition to rotate the accounts we follow based on causes and social issues that matter to us,” and for June, those accounts include those for It Gets Better, the Human Rights Campaign, the Matthew Shepard Foundation, PLFAG, the Trevor Project, and the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

The Instagram post also included a collage of nine images — including a shot of the couple attending a 2017 World AIDS Day event and a photo of Princess Diana, Harry’s late mother, sharing a laugh with an AIDS patient in 1996.
According to PinkNews, Harry and Meghan are the first members of the royal family to publicly celebrate Pride Month.
“We stand with you and support you,” concludes the post. “Because it’s very simple: love is love.”

Along with the usual homophobic and transphobic backlash, the Instagram post has garnered praise from LGBTQ organizations and celebrities alike, including Tom Daley. “This is just AWESOME,” the Olympic diver wrote in a comment.
Activist and documentarian Raymond Braun, who appears in the upper right corner of the collage, also commended the royal couple. “Thank you so much for including me in your Pride celebration and commemoration,” he wrote. “I admire your philanthropic work and advocacy so much and am deeply honored.”

Grifters are like Trump, they are con artists and liars. The royal family exists because the British want it to. Overwhelmingly they take pride in the royals, who are now removed from politics and simply figureheads. I know that you have a hard time understanding anything that is outside your tiny world view, but try to keep your foolishness to yourself.

While they probably get some money from what is called the Civil List it’s likely that most comes from Harry’s father who get the revenues of the Duchy of Cornwall which has considerable property holdings.

They bring in much more in tourist dollars than they cost. They PAY the government money, for all the properties and everyone, including the Queen, has served in their military. She was a truck mechanic and likes to brag about how quickly she can tear down an engine and put it back together.
Also, I love Harry because he got busted in Vegas, playing poker naked and smoking a joint. I like them.
