Q&A.

On the heels of his new book, When You Are Engulfed in Flames, gay author David Sedaris subjected himself to reader's questions, including whether he's jealous of his sister, actress Amy Sedaris. The answer is no: "What Amy and I do are different. Amy is an actress, and I'm not. To me, the idea of being on camera is absolutely horrible." [Time]

Thanks for running this. Although he is not as funny as his writings, he did give some good pointers in writing personal essays.

Funny … just yesterday, my mom asked me if I thought Amy was jealous of David's success.

I'd have to say it's a pretty successful family all around.

Amy's got her niche, David's got his…and both got it goin' on. His books are some of the few that make me laugh out loud - and that's sayin' somethin'. Rock on, David!
