Radio Host Suspended After "Homophobic" Comment
Took On Homo-Politico's Faggotry

boisclairH.jpg
A Canadian radio host has been suspended after uttering some allegedly homophobic and certainly boring comments about openly Parti Quebecois leader Andre Boisclair (pictured).

In the midst of election madness, Boisclair recently released a report on homophobia in Quebec's schools and offices. With regard to this report, radio host Louis Champagne said that factory workers would never vote for a gay candidate. Following a flurry of angry calls, the radio station has suspended Champagne until the matter's resolved.

Of the suspension, Boisclair remarked that he was right to have confidence in his constituency. Marc-Andre Dowd of Quebec's Human Rights Commission also lauded the move, saying: "We are happy that they were largely denounced by political leaders of all parties, journalists and editorialists." Sounds like Champagne and Ann Coulter have something in common - except, of course, the Canadian situation doesn't have the same panache. Not that we're really surprised...

I would suggest that the Canadian story has infinitely more 'panache' than the tired, boring, repetetive Ann Coulter story. First, NO ONE went on record and defended Louis Champagne's ignorant remarks. He was roundly denounced by all, right wingers included. Second, Champagne has been removed from his job, and NO ONE is going to have him come speak to their political party -- let alone the ruling party of our country. The man's statements have left him a pariah. And what's happening with Ann Coulter? Why, she just keeps getting analysed and defended, and then invited to share her poisonous bile with more speaking engagements to more groups. And you call this panache? I call it unenlightened and unevolved.

I like how you called him "openly Parti Quebecois". (If I was a PQ member, I'd be described as a "closeted Parti Quebecois.")

Boisclair, however, is tres joli. I'd totally do him if he'd just shut up about that whole fake separatist thing his party has been going on an on about for decades. Yawn.

Where's the panache in that? A show, moreover a spectacle of corruption and ignorance? How exciting... too bad it's real. The current american situation is a depressing, seemingly unfixable mess. I'll take my rights and people learning to treat one another with greater respect anyday. Will the u.s. ever climb out of it's benighted slumber? The rest of the world waits, impatiently, with alternating pity and compassion.

I think that "openly Parti Quebecois leader" is an error. Maybe you meant "openly gay Parti Quebecois leader"?

Thank god. I'd have had to cut my tongue out had it been used on Ann Coulter.
