This just in: disliking or being sick of a celebrity doesn't mean you wish they were dead. Cut the woman some slack, there are more than a few celebs I wouldn't mind getting bumped off.

These people make a living out of being in your face 24-7, it's only natural for people to get annoyed.

First, Rosie O'Donnell was 100% right in her comments. Her comments were pointing out what a shame it is that someone as clearly drugged and in need of intervention as Anna Nicole Smith was hogging all the news. Second, Rosie's blog is NOT a collection of news bytes. It's the exact heading above conservative, relentlessly anti-Rosie news site The Drudge Report. I believe it's obvious Rosie, by posting that, is lamenting the accidental timing of her comments but also underscoring how Drudge goes out of his way to try to drag her into some kind of focal part of the story. He's trying to smear Rosie based on people's completely irrational fondness for Anna Nicole Smith. (All that said, and just by the way, I love Queerty, visit you often, am not sick of seeing your face even one more time on TV and hope none of you die! :0)

I have already heard some dumb ass on a local radio talk show suggesting that Rosie's comments caused Anna Nicole to go over the edge. Such a tacky comment to make, and yet the moment I watched Rosie's statement (I saw it on my Tivo after I had learned about Anna Nicole) I knew that someone would bring it up.

I hope Rosie doesn't listen to any of the BS that is being said.

Oh is Anna a saint now? Funny, before she overdosed, everyone thought she was just another drugged-out whore. Rosie didn't "blast her for being in the news", she blasted the news for focusing too much attention on her. Her point was that there are more important things going on, and it's like they're purposely trying to divert attention from it.
