Seems like everyone is trying to swindle us these days. First we had the James Frey controversy followed by the J.T. Leroy hoax. Now we're having high school kids lie to us. And here we thought teenagers were perfectly behaved angels.
Straight boy Brandon Flyte claimed that his school expelled him for showing his high school class Brokeback Mountain short film called Brokeback High that featured a scene with male teens shirtless in bed. While the film was indeed shown in class, he wasn’t expelled. He perpetuated the lie on his own web site, where the story spread all over the world, pissing off queens everywhere. And now he has to deal with pissed of queens who have been lied to. Looks like Flyte’s in trouble for real this time.
These Brokeback parodies were starting to get so tired that someone was bound to be punished for them.
