Towleroad writes that young Clay Aiken just got off a five-day UNICEF mission to war torn Afghanistan. Of the trip, Aiken says:
As a former teacher I recognize that spark of hope and excitement all children possess when given the opportunity to learn. Rebuilding schools, training teachers, providing essential supplies and teaching materials are just some of the advances UNICEF and its partners have made to keep that hope flourishing.Nicely done, Mr. Aiken. We can't even front like we're not proud of your work. We can, however, scratch our heads at your get up. Yeah, you're trying to blend in and all, but you look like a douche.
Any one word for this picture, readers?
Hilarious! Clay seen in public with a beard that isn't a woman!
Proud of the work he's doing.
You're kidding, right?
Clay is wearing traditional Afghani clothing and is using the typical pose of an Afghani when he first meets someone. It's a sign of respect.
Just where are you from, Podunk, USA?
Queerty: Perhaps you could set the record straight. Mr. Aiken is NOT a teacher. He graduated with a degree in education but is not and never has been licensed as a teacher. He has never been hired as a teacher (class room aide apparently) but to date, he is not licensed anywhere and has not fulfilled the necessary requirements to obtain that license. He should stop saying that he is a teacher. It is untrue. It really isn't fair to people who get their degree, do the student teaching required and then fulfill the additional lilcensing requirements and do in fact get licensed for a pop star to claim he is what he is not.
It's Obi-Wan!
BLOGBLIGHT ALERT!
This blog is infested with blogblight: n. Malicious lies, half-truths, distortions and insinuations perpetuated mindlessly by bloggers publishing misinformation, photos or video from each others blogs, or the tabloids, with no thought to the veracity, authenticity or libelous nature of the content.
The blight bloggers range from professional journalists (who should know better) down to the celebrity gossip hacks. Similar blight occurs in the other news media (tabloids) as well, but is more pervasive on the internet because of the anonymity accorded many of those who perpetuate it.
Blogblight undermines one of the basic values of the internet, information sharing. Rather than seeing legitimate and accurate information, internet users see blogblight instead.
This blog also has a bad case of DumBlight.
I just want to add to this that when clay say he needs help for anything his claymates do it but what comes out of his pocket?he says thank you to the claymates for helping him ,what does he do for the claymates that help sing ya but they pay still to get a ticket to watch him sing its time for clay to do right by them not just a thank you
I guess his taxman knows...and you never will Honestly people that qustion him on such STUPID SHIT like that. How much have you given? ( don't bother answering because you'll just make it up. You've asked that "Is he a teacher" crap on what 6 or 7 different bolgs now. Grow up. get a life. I have one, a good one. I'm happy.
Pious. He looks pious.
"Clay is wearing traditional Afghani clothing and is using the typical pose of an Afghani when he first meets someone. It's a sign of respect."
Yes, and its still funny when Clay Aiken does it.
Gaykin looks like he's been cast as joseph in the annual palm springs christmas pageant and he's astounding the mesmerized afghani's with his magical interpretation of "this is the church, this is the steeple..."
BTW, that BLOGBLIGHT poster gets around. The poor thing must be exhausted trying to debunk the gay aiken stories.
