Things aren't looking so good for affirmed pornographers and accused killers, 25-year old Harlow Cuadra and Joseph Kerekes, 33. The not-so-gentlemen were arrested last week for the murder of Pennsylvania-based bareback producer, Bryan Kocis. And it's looking pretty premeditated.

The web-based porn duo wanted to hire a porn star named Sean Lockhart aka Brent Corrigan. Unfortunately, the late Kocis had Lockhart's rock hard cock locked in a contract.

Rather than waiting out the contract, web-based porn producer Kerekes and his rising "star", Cuadra decided to kill Kocis, a damning affidavit says. The 21-page . Because, you know, that's the logical thing to do...

Porn producer Joseph Kerekes and skin starlet Harlow Cuadra may be in prison for murder, but they refuse to be treated like criminals.

The two were arrested and charged in Vriginia Beach, VA, Tuesday for the January murder of business rival, Bryan Kocis. Police allege that Kerekes and Cuadra (pictured) plotted and carried out Kocis' killing - and apparently the devilish duo really wanted Kocis dead: they stabbed him 28 times and then set his house on fire. In addition to the murder and arson charges, the boys are also facing racketeering charges.

As their good fortune wears off and their bank accounts remain frozen, the boys remain resolute in cock-blocking justice: they've refused extradition to Pennsylvania...

Suspected murderer Glen D. Race has a history with the law. The man accused of killing two openly gay Canadians and an American also found himself in custody on April 14, 2005, when police say he broke into a house "with the intent to commit an indictable offense," Truro Daily News reports.

At the time, a judge ruled that Race should undergo an psychological examination. The results were anything but exemplary:

[Race] was remanded to the East Coast Forensic Psychiatric Hospital in Dartmouth for an assessment to determine his fitness to stand trial and whether he could be considered criminally responsible for the alleged offences. The assessment said he had a serious psychiatric disorder, schizophrenia. He was deemed psychotic, but none of this affected his rationale with regard to specific actions.

Canadian Glen D. Race remains in custody after being picked up near the Mexican border for the murder of a New York man, Darcy Manor. Police found Manor's bullet-ridden body five-days ago in Mooers, NY. Canadian police claim that 26-year old killed openly gay Trevor Brewster last Wednesday, May 9, and then stole his car, which he used to cross into America. They go on to claim that Race then killed Manor, stole his car and hightailed it toward Mexico.

Considering the similarities between Brewster's murder and that of another gay man, Michael Knott, Canadian officials believe Race also killed Knott. Newsday elaborates:

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said Wednesday the same man from Halifax has been charged with two earlier murders in Nova Scotia, as well as robbery counts.

RCMP officials said Race has been charged in Canada with the murders of Trevor Brewster, 45, and Paul Michael Knott, 44.

Harlow Cuadra and Joseph Kerekes have been charged in porn producer Bryan Kocis' (pictured) brutal murder. Police found Kocis' mutilated, charred body back in January and instantly followed a trail to 25-year old Cuadra, an alleged escort who emailed Kocis hours before his death. Cuadra denied his involvement, of course, but police kept digging.

Their investigation led them to Cuadra and Kerekes' shared home, from which authorities took a gun, computers and DNA samples. Cuadra and Kerekes, however, were no where to be found. They were picked up yesterday morning in Virginia Beach and have now officially been charged with murder, conspiracy, arson, burglary and abuse of a corpse, among other things. Police suspect that Cuardra and Kerekes - who run some naughty websites - attempted to steal Kocis' star actor, but Kocis resisted, which led them to kill him. Sheesh, don't these people have agents?

Jeffrey Landrigan will die for the 1989 murder of Chester Dyer. Landrigan - who had just escaped prison, where he was serving time for another, unrelated murder -picked Dyer up off the street and went back to Dyer's apartment. Once there, Landrigan strangled Dyer to death.

After being arrested (again), Landrigan stood trial for Dyer's murder. During this trial, however, Landrigan stopped his lawyer from presenting potentially life-saving evidence. With nothing but damning testimony, the Judge sentenced Landrigan to death.

Scotland Yard remains hampered by homophobia, says a new report. The UK-based Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Advisory Group studied ten hate-crimes and found that coppers don't quite have a handle on the queers: an ignorance that may have detracted their investigations. The group writes:

If we borrow the terminology of the Macpherson [racist study] report, historical police practice amounted to 'institutional' homophobia and transphobia.

There were several investigations where we have deep reservations about the way in which the identity of the victim informed investigative decisions at the time. We also found evidence of inappropriate attitudes to the circumstances of some murders.

Halifax police released an official warning to gay men after two men were murdered in so many weeks. Police removed Trevor Charles Brewster’s body last week, while Michael Paul Knott turned up dead on May 5, in Mill Cove, N.S. Police have found sufficient similarities between the two murders to launch a joint investigation and issue the aforementioned admonition:

Both victims were gay men who were known to frequent cruising areas in Halifax Regional Municipality. We do not know if their sexual orientation or the cruising areas played a factor in their deaths. These circumstances, though, cannot be ruled out as contributing factors. Therefore we are issuing a public advisory for potential safety concerns in cruising areas.

South African homo Michael Barend van Zyl has been sentenced to life imprisonment for murdering his former real estate broker lover, Andre Weitz. Barend van Zyl killed Weitz with an ax in June of 2004, after they had broken up. It seems Weitz went on with his life, taking a new lover and living happily in a Cape Town suburb. Van Zyl didn't take the news too well and appeared on Weitz doorstep to talk things out. Weitz didn't want to talk, however, and drove his ex-boyfriend to a bus stop for a trip to Durban.

Unfortunately, Van Zyl didn't board that bus. Instead, the 29-year old went back to Weitz's house, broke in, attempted to kill himself and once Weitz and his lover went to bed, Van Zyl took it upon himself to take Weitz life.

Canadian police have finally found the body of 72-year old British national, Harley Walker. Walker went missing last October and concerned neighbors called the police to investigate. Coppers may not have found Walker, but they found a considerable amount of blood in his house, as well as evidence that a man named David Kenton Reid may have been responsible.

Like so many men, Walker turned to the internet to get his kicks. Police allege that 46-year old Reid - a married father and former investment banker - used a gay sex site to lure old men into his web of deceit. If they're to be believed, Walker contacted Reid about three months before his death. Reid somehow got access to the elderly man's bank account, took all he could and then murdered Walker.

An autopsy of Walker's badly decomposed body shows that he died of a stab wound to the chest. Hardly the penetration he expected when he logged onto that website. But, sadly, one we're hearing off all too often. If only people could relate face-to-face. What a wonderful - and potentially less scary - world this would be...
