Hundreds of Sacramento-area students rallied to support four students suspended for wearing anti-gay shirts. One participant said: "It's only going to get worse against Christians. We're going to get persecuted more and more. But those who stand to the end: God is going to save them." Um, right...

Dangerous Liasons
Tue, Mar 14, 2006

It seems we missed quite the party at the GAYVN Awards this past weekend. Where there's a group of porn stars all vying for the same awards, catfighting and scandal are sure to follow.

Michael LucasOur friends at the event had many tales to tell, including one of random hostility towards Russian-born porn impersario Michael Lucas, who landed five awards through the evening (including a Best Picture tie-win, for his flick Dangerous Liasons). When Lucas mounted the stage to accept his honors, his reception was less than congratulatory:

People booed my man Michael Lucas and didn't clap when Lucas Entertainment's productions were named during the awards. Well this just shocked my pretty little head. In New York I'm used to people oohing, ahhing and fawning over my boss! I mean come on people- a 10 inch dick on a man with that face?! (Yes, that and he's got personality too ...) This was the first time I'd ever seen such a negative, cold reaction towards him. It only got colder when angry (jealous?) GAYVN attendees threw ice at Michael when he joked "Thank you to those who voted for me, and f#ck you to those who didn't". Ew! No sense of humor.

What prompted such rancorous behavior? Perhaps disgruntled actors who haven't yet been hired for a Lucas film? We know Michael Lucas very well, and he assure you he is as kind as he is pretty. The ice-throwers were identified as performers from Raging Stallion Studios, and our friend says Michael later received a written apology from a Raging Stallion executive, who promised to spank the all those in the wrong. Not that a spanking has ever swayed a porn star from being naughty.
