First and foremost, we feel like dirty old men for thinking 17-year old Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe's kind of hot. If only we were still in high school, but, alas, we're not, thus the sight of his surprisingly fit body makes us feel a bit salacious - certainly a bold statement coming from us. But, of course, we're not the only ones with conflicting feelings about Radcliffe's role in Peter Shaffer's scintillating, Equus.
A number of Potter fans have spoken out against Radcliffe's lengthy nude scenes, scenes many think tarnish his family friendly image. One protester tells The Daily Mail:
We as parents feel Daniel should not appear nude. Our nine-year-old son looks up to him as a role model. We are very disappointed and will avoid the future movies he makes.Yeah, we're sure he's really concerned, especially considering his participation in the West End play's helped rake in over £1million in pre-sale tickets.
Another concerned citizen wonders what Radcliffe's parents think of all this: "I am curious as to how and why his parents said this was okay." Um, because it's called acting. One can't expect him to play a boyish wizard forever, right? Unless, of course, you're hoping he'll end up like too many other child stars: strung out and unemployed.

Dakota Fanning isn't the only child star ready to bare all for a shot at teen (or, in her case, tween) notoriety. Seventeen-year-old Daniel Radcliffe – you know him as Harry Potter – is preparing to strip down in Equus to play Alan Strang, "a psychologically disturbed stable boy." Because just like Dakota, Daniel needs to play a fucked up child in order to get naked. Though we're actually more excited to know that he's co-starring with the brilliant Richard Griffiths, who just took home a Tony in The History Boys.
