The New York Times reports today that New York Governor Eliot Spitzer plans to introduce legislation that would legalize same-sex marriage in the state. The announcement underlines Spitzer's commitment in favor of gay unions at a time when his critics have become increasingly vocal in questioning his standoffish approach to the gay marriage debate in the months following his election to office in November.
I am focusing now on politics as the art of the possible, Spitzer is quoted as saying, adding: “I think most who are close to the issue would agree with me that it’s not likely to be passed in the next nine-and-a-half weeks."

It would be great if this were more than a political stunt. He campaigned a bit on this and just doesn't want to be called out. Claiming outright that it won't be passed is unacceptable. New Yorkers demand someone to fight for them not someone who shrugs his shoulders when his rhetoric fails to come to fruition.
Can someone please post a link to a bigger version of the pic of Spitzer shirtless?
I didn't know this was out there, and perhaps oddly enough have always found him SUPER sexy.
Sure his chest could use some work, but damn if he aint got a SEXY face (love those eyes). He's also TALL and got great BIG FEET.
Woof.
I heard on the news today that Spitzer waited in line to see that Sanjaya kid from AI; and now I'm reading about him on Queerty. That's a lot of Spitzer in one day, even if he's the only governor (not including Arnold) I know of that is willing to be photographed open-shirt like that.
