For those of you not blessed enough to grow up in the eighties, you may not be aware of Teen Witch: by far one of the most camptastic movies in history. It stars Robyn Lively as Louise Miller a - you guessed it - Teen Witch who must learn to use her powers for good. She does, of course, but not before making herself the most popular girl in school. Louise is so popular, in fact, that people cheer outside her house with signs that read "Louise Mania".
Well, the boys over at Fagat Guide have used a clip from this unsung classic for this week's installment of "Why You Are Gay". It's a little rap session ("Top That") and stands out as one of our favorite childhood cinematic memories. Thanks, Fagat. Next time, however, we'd love a little Brad action. He was, after all, the raddest boy in school...
"I want to be the most popular girl!"
I fucking love Teen Witch! I used to watch it everytime I was sick. I think I mainly loved it for the "Top That" scene. Damn, I was really young when I saw this movie, too.
My gayness is overwhelming.
Ohhh - make it stop. My brain hurts now.
HAAAAAAAAAAhahaha, That is so funny!!
Whoo hoo! I freakin' loved "Teen Witch" too!
Remember the little brother, Richie?? This movie is just too good...
Wow, I saw this DVD in the store the other day and was totally reminded of this scene. Cringe-inducingly bad in such a wonderful way! Thanks!
