Dior Homme designer Hedi Slimane not only worships edgy street youth and uses them as models in his fashion shows; he also takes photos of them and puts them on the Internet. His "online diary" has no words, just soulful images of troubled (and sometimes shirtless) young men, and no expensive fashion to be found. One more after the jump.

Moving, well-done pictures, but the idea of a grown man objectifying underage kids (you specifically said street YOUTH), especially vulnerable ones with pasts like most of those guys probably have had, is a little disturbing.
not really. it's the same as photographers such as demarchelier or helmut newton, who are much older than slimane, objectifying young girls, which no one has ever had a problem with. basically hedi's gay, and you're homophobic.
except you're undoubtedly gay too... oh well. i can still accuse you of conservatism without qualms.
