Keith Michael Spring 2007

keith-michael-new.jpg

Even though he made the same dress week after week on Project Runway before getting kicked out last week for breaking the rules, we still thought Keith Michael had some talent and promise, and was also cute from certain angles. After all, he had never even made dresses before appearing on the show (supposedly), which was maybe the reason he submitted some "sketches" of very cute looks by other designers with his ProjRun application.

All of this aside, we thought he had taste, but he has proved us wrong with an ill-conceived and ill-fitting collection for Spring 2007. To quote Heidi Klum, "it looks cheap," and we don't know where he found those two models, but yikes. Maybe he should stick to hackneyed silk-screened mens t-shirts or think about designing Madonna's next exclusive H&M track suit.

Oh, Keith went to design school, so as Daddy Tim observes, he would have had to make at least one dress before the show.

Borrrring. If anything, the menswear looks like something out of International Male--nice crotch, but lousy outfit.
