George Michael remains firm on one thing: he's going to stay in the headlines. Following accusations of cruising from a one Norman Kirtland, Michael told BBC News in an exclusive interview that he had never met this fellow — and plans on suing not just him but the photographers who follow him around in the wee hours of the morning when, as Michael freely admits, he cruises for sex. Interestingly, he is not planning to file suit against News of the World, the News Corp.-owned tabloid that originally printed allegations of Michael's troubled relationship and public philandering. (All this from a guy who says he doesn't "want to talk about it at all." Though certainly she shouldn't let his good name get trounced in public.)
A very large part of the male population, gay or straight, totally understands the idea of anonymous and no-strings sex.The fact that I choose to do that on a warm night in the best cruising ground in London - which happens to be about half a mile from my home - I don't think would be that shocking to that many gay people.
Until such time as the straight world is not attacking people for cruising, I'd say the gay world could actually keep that to themselves, just for a little bit longer.

"I don't think would be that shocking to that many gay people".
Michael, you are a sad example of a celebrity gay male. Not all gay men cruise their local parks. Sorry, but I am no longer a "fan".
"happens to be about half a mile from my home "
Just a coincidence, I'm sure.
There is a thing called a "Nubian gag order." A black comic came up with the term and it applies to whenver a black person says something bone dumb. There needs to be an equivalent for gay folk and it needs to be applied to Mr. Michael. Today.
peace
I know it's likely a file photo, but what's up with the look on Kenny's face?
I think Kenny is doing what many gays do in pictures: opening his eyes really wide and tightening his facial muscles as much as he can so as to appear younger.
I hope George Michael publickly embarrasses media owner Rupert Murdoch over this. Rupert Murdoch's newspapers promote and glorify heterosexual male-oriented sleaze while at the same time pursuing a gay man (ie. George Michael) minding his own business at night. I believe it's because Rupert is homophobic. The double standard his newspapers practise are hypocritical to say the least.
Of course, you won't see Rupert's newspapers going after a heterosexual man who might be crusing a street to pick up female prostitutes.
George. I'm Gay. And not Flamboyant. You are my Own Private Shame.
I can't believe I downloaded you songs from I Tunes.
Die, Cunt Die.
AAAHHHH AAAHHHHH HHHAAA HHAAAA
