R&B crooner Ne-Yo's plan to be the next Usher could be in jeopardy if he turns out to not love the ladies as much as his songs profess. It's called credibility, and his would be shot.
Unfortunately for him, there has been a letter released by someone claiming to be an editor at Essence magazine that reveals the singer will come out of the closet in the October issue of the magazine.
The letter has since been discredited by Essence magazine, who told reporters that there the author of the letter does not work for their publication. Case closed, right? Well, Ne-Yo's troubles may not be over, for, as we are ever fond of saying: persistent gay rumors usually turn out to be true.
The good news for Ne-Yo: whiny boy singers coming out of the closet has become the next big thing!
