You may not be able to put a price on love, but you can sure as hell put a whopper of a tag on love-gone-wrong. Author Terry McMillan's filed a $40 million complaint against former muse and hubbie, Jonathan Plummer. The 55-year old McMillan claims Plummer, 32, "smeared her name" during their 2005 divorce: a divorce precipitated by Plummer's latent homosexuality. And his dough will make the perfect mop.
The lawsuit reads:
The defendants [Plummer and his lawyer, Dolores Sargent] conspired and formed a plan to threaten to humiliate and embarrass Terry McMillan and violate her privacy and place her in harm's way, and threatened to damage her professional and personal standing in an attempt to extort monies from her.Didn't McMillan sort of violate her own privacy by making their love affair the pivot for her best-seller, How Stella Got Her Groove Back? Also, McMillan best be careful, lest she give Plummer more fodder for his forthcoming memoir.

And she *didn't* try to smear *him*? This bitch deserves nothing. Except obscurity.
