The notion that scandal-ridden actor Isaiah Washington would make a pro-gay PSA for GLAAD borders on the absurd. The entire set-up's like a bad plotline from an equally bad prime time soap: actor fucks up, goes to "rehab", makes PSA telling people not to fuck up. It's ridiculous! We've all read the words, but now you can see the - um - real deal above.

Meanwhile, TMZ also has an uber-bizarro video of Bobby Trendy and an American Idol reject (aka one of Trendy's horrible homo spawn) fagging it up. Warning: this video is not for the faint of heart. It is, however, perfect for anyone looking to call someone a faggot. Isaiah Washington take note.

TR Knight's not the only Grey's Anatomy star grabbing headlines this week. Rumor has it Isaiah Washington will not be returning to the hit ABC series. At least not on a regular basis.

Us quotes a proverbial insider: “He will not be back as a series regular". The actor - whose faggot flinging led Knight to come out of the closet - may appear in a few episodes. The article also claims that Knight didn't earn many friends during his two season stay on the set.

Katherine Heigl, 28, said her costar “just needs to stop talking” after Washington used the f-word again at the January 15 Golden Globes, but the damage had been done.

“The cast – especially the women – just don’t like him,” says a Grey’s source.

“The stars of the show really felt ABC made a mistake by keeping Isaiah [after his controversial behavior].”

Washington's flacks deny the rumors and claimsthe actor's still a part of the Grey's team. The representative does concede, however, that they have yet to receive a contract.

It may strike some of you as queer that The Advocate chose actor TR Knight for the cover of their annual Pride issue. His may have been one of the most anticlimactic coming outs in homo history. The events leading up to the Grey’s Anatomy star’s October 19, 2006 People-hosted revelation were far too explosive to afford Knight a proper, prideful arena.

Co-star Isaiah Washington had an altercation with another Grey’s actor, Patrick Dempsey, reportedly shouting, “I'm not your little faggot like [redacted].” Tongues immediately started wagging and the media – including ourselves – began speculating as to whom Washington referred. The American Family Association has a long history of inciting riots against "pro-gay" companies. They've got their on-and-off hate affair with Wal-Mart. And of course there's their "victorious" campaign against Ford's dalliance with GLAAD.

But how do the "traditional" family focused rabble rousers know which brands to brand enemies of their fundamentalist state? They subject themselves to hours and hours of gay-endorsed television, of course. The group's project summary:

Between February 11 through May 5, American Family Association monitored the top eight prime-time network programs featuring lead or supporting homosexual characters. These programs were specifically identified by the activist-homosexual group GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) as GLAAD Media Award winners, or as showcasing leading or supporting homosexual characters.

Of the eight shows - The Simpsons, ER, The Office, The Class, Brothers & Sisters, Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty and Grey's Anatomy - four air on the Disney-owned ABC. That means the AFA's going to have to add the media giant to its list of offenders, which already includes Ford, Verizon and Quaker Oats. The AFA's got quite a battle ahead.

If they're really serious about taking down fag-friendly firms, AFA members should again take GLAAD's advice: the media watch dog has a rundown of all the gay pride month televisuals.

Isaiah Washington's making a special reconciliatory trip to Gayville. The Grey's Anatomy star came under fire for his faggot flinging - a liberal linguistic lob that led to TR Knight's coming out - and now he's appearing in two GLAAD-sponsored public service announcements.

Our black sister Lauren Williams over at Stereohyped tipped us off to this Us Weekly "exclusive", which reads:

Says an insider, “Isaiah is committed to making amends.”

The actor's publicist, Howard Bragman, confirmed the ad on Wednesday. "We're gonna have — I want to say at least two versions of it at this point," Bragman said. "We may broaden our message a little."

Well, we're just tickled a pretty shade of pink. Not only because we endorse rehabilitated, apologetic Washington's publicist-endorsed efforts - which we do, begrudgingly), but also in eager anticipation for the announcement itself. What the hell can he say? Something like, "It's not nice to call someone a faggot backstage" and then, "It's not nice to call someone a faggot at the Golden Globes"? Hopefully they've got good screen writer's. Also, we're so pleased to know that Washington and GLAAD's friendship lives on. Mazel to the t-o-v!

Variety announced news that in his ongoing effort to make up for all that nasty f-word stuff between himself and co-star T.R. Knight, Isiah Washington decided not to submit himself for consideration at this year's Emmy Awards.

But really, who didn't see that coming?

The NAACP may have forgotten Isaiah Washington's faggot flinging ways, but ABC execs have a long memory. An anonymous tipster tells Page Six that Washington's anti-gay epithet has cost the Grey's Anatomy star a bit of a bonus:

All the actors are in the midst of contract renegotiations. But ABC is using Isaiah's recent troubles to keep from paying him more... Isaiah knows it is his fault that he may not get the fat raise he was going to get. ABC doesn't have to give him anything - he is under contract for seven years - and this is going to cost him millions. It's just a bitter pill he is going to have to swallow.

We've got one thing to say: good.

We must have fallen through a warp into the Bizarro dimension or something. We're stunned that the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People handed Grey's Anatomy actor and TR Knight faggot caller Isaiah Washington the Best Actor in a Television Drama at their Image Awards over the weekend. Perhaps they're not that concerned about his scandalous past. Or maybe he's that good of an actor. Or, more likely, the competition just really, really sucked.

Of course, the organization's got bigger problems: leader Bruce Gordon stepped down after a measly 19-months in charge. Apparently he didn't see eye-to-eye with the board.

If you're interested, sappho-journo Jasmyne Cannick's got the video of Washington's speech. Not coincidentally, he thanks her. Cannick defended him during the whole faggot scandal. We don't get mentioned. He must have forgotten.

Now for some frivolous gossip. Page Six reports that some members of the Grey's Anatomy cast, including admitted homosexual TR Knight had a bit of a run-in with Puff Daddy (we refuse to call him P. Diddy, thank you) and his security detail. It seems Knight, Kate Walsh and Sara Ramirez had settled in to the Rolling Stone and Justin Timberlake pre-Grammy party when Daddy's security team told them to move. Apparently it didn't go well:

A spy said, "Puffy was supposed to sit in the same VIP area that had four tables - two were for him and two were for the Grey's Anatomy cast. But he was very, very late, and there are a lot of 'Grey's' castmembers, so T.R., Kate and Sara were at a table set up for Puffy."

Combs' bodyguard was a little heavy-handed.

"This guy goes up to T.R., Kate and Sara and started demanding - 'Get out! Get out now! Move it!' - T.R. was furious," our spy who was in the same VIP section said.

The spy added that Combs and Knight exchanged words before the Grey's cast were led away to another table.

Aw, poor Knight. If only he and P.D. could have a little sit down and work things out. Too bad Daddy ain't sharing the table Maybe if he ever has the courage to come out they can be friends. Until then, it doesn't seem likely...

Wow, that was the quick faggot-rehab in history (actually, we think it may be the only bigot rehab in history)! Rumor has it that Isaiah Washington's scheduled to return to the set of Grey's Anatomy tomorrow after running off to anger management to hide out after admitting to and apologizing for calling co-star TR Knight a faggot.

So, what does this mean for his cast mates? They'll once again enjoy working with a complete asshole on an increasingly tense set. Sounds like the makings of a great television show.

• So, Paris Hilton didn't pay her rent on a storage unit, some schmuck bought all the contents and has no posted pictures of said contents online. Nothing really interesting, except this picture, of a man covered in what appears to be about a kilo of cocaine. Why? It's a party! Duh.

We hear from Andy Towle, who heard from Life & Style, who heard from an anonymous source, that faggot-flinging Isaiah Washington's checked into some sort of rehabilitation center to think about what he's done. L&S reports:

Grey’s Anatomy star Isaiah Washington has entered a residential treatment facility in an effort to quell the controversy surrounding his anti-gay remarks — and save his job, Life & Style has learned exclusively.

According to an insider, Isaiah, who issued an apology for his statements on Jan. 18, agreed to undergo a psychological assessment after talks with ABC executives.

The married 43-year-old father of three was spotted entering the facility at 9 a.m. today (Jan. 24).

"ABC has told him he must enter a program to examine why he would say such hateful words,” the insider says.

Well, at least they're being somewhat honest about it. He could have concocted some story about how he's a drunk or has post-traumatic stress disorder from Vietnam, or something.

We're not sure what sort of regimen he'll be on while in rehab, but we imagine it involves Washington looking in a mirror and calling himself a faggot so he knows the pain of hearing himself talk.
