Hundreds of Sacramento-area students rallied to support four students suspended for wearing anti-gay shirts. One participant said: "It's only going to get worse against Christians. We're going to get persecuted more and more. But those who stand to the end: God is going to save them." Um, right...

We really wanted to hear "It's My Life", but couldn't decide if we preferred 80s new wavers, Talk Talk's original or the No Doubt update. So, we decided to let you decide for us - yeah, we're definitely susceptible to peer pressure. We blame it on low self-esteem.
So, readers, above you see Talk Talk's version from 1984 and after the jump you can watch Gwen and company's jail house rendition. Then you can form an educated opinion and let us have it...

Like we promised you last week, every day between now and Christmas we are listing the reasons why 2005 was gay. So Gay! Need proof? Take a look at the musicians who made 2005 gay, gay, gay!
5. Green Day. The punk trio released the brilliant American Idiot technically in late 2004, however its staying power lasted all through 2005. Front man Billie Joe Armstrong gave kids everywhere one positive message: you can wear make-up and be tough at the same time. And we love him for that.
4. Gwen Stefani. Like Green Day, she too released her Love. Angel. Music. Baby. album in late 2004, but the first single “What You Waiting For?” tanked at radio. Fear not, she rebounded big with hit single after hit single, a clothing line co-designed by Zaldy at Fashion Week, and an album that stayed near the top all year. While Britney becomes a mother, it’s this Southern California girl who has, dare we say, become the new Madonna.
3. Melissa Etheridge. Melissa Etheridge does not get the credit she deserves. It took a battle against cancer and a soaring Janis Joplin cover to prove that this woman, who appeared to be past her prime, still has a lot of rocking left to do. Green Day and Kanye West look like sissies next to her.
2. The 1980s. The 80s have been back in fashion for a while and the decade’s influence on music has been apparent in many hip-hop and pop records of late. But 2005 could have been 1985 all over again. New records were released by Kate Bush, Cyndi Lauper, the Eurythmics, Depeche Mode, and Erasure. This revival gave us a reason to break out our parachute pants and leg warmers.
After the jump, the #1 gayest thing in music in 2005.
[Read On ...]Today is the final day in our coverage of the Bid 2 Beat AIDS auction! You know the deal by now. Queerty is helping raise money for LIFEbeat, the music industry fighting AIDS.

Gwen Stefani is loved by The Gays and has graciously decided to meet and greet on lucky bidder. On December 21 you could be sitting in a pair of ultra-VIP seats within the first ten rows of the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida. You'd think you'd never get the chance to be any closer to Gwen, but that's not the case --- you will also be introduced to Gwen personally either before or after the show!
Meet Gwen Stefani and raise money for LIFEbeat? You do the math, silly. What you waiting, what you waiting, what you waiting, what you waiting for?
• Blondie, the New Wave band lead by Debbie Harry, is being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Madonna and Gwen owe a lot to her. So if you are gay and not familiar, you need to run to iTunes and download Parallel Lines, now.

• "We came up with a new idea that we said we would get married the day that gays and lesbians can get married. Via her and her.

•Anderson Cooper is “sensitive,” close to his mom, and as he puts it “(I) just don’t talk about my personal life.” New York Magazine isn’t saying he’s definitely gay, they’re just implying it.

Our editor Bradford has a published piece in this week's HX Magazine interviewing Gwen Stefani's right-hand man, Zaldy. Once a club kid, runway model(as a woman!), and downtown club fixture, Zaldy has reinvented himself as a force in the fashion industry. He showed his name line on Saturday and L.A.M.B. is closing fashion week on Friday. Zaldy took time to answer a few of our questions.
1. What is your most prized possession?
Well of course all the right answers are health, friends, family, honor, but as far as a real object I would have to say my Victorian wolf ring.
2. Greatest source of inspiration?
The greatest source of inspiration for me is pop culture: I see tons of movies (Ken Russel, Fassbinder, Werner Herzog, Visconte, Ridley Scott, David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick), listen to loads of music( Siouxsie Sioux, Bauhaus, Antony and the Johnsons, Rufus, Danielle Dax, Can), and buy tons of books(Renzo Piano, Stanley Kubrick, Guy Bourdin,Weiner Werkstat). I have movies going on in the tv room, books laid out in the studio and music all going at the same time.
3. Greatest album ever recorded?
The greatest album ever recorded is impossible to name!
4. Greatest book ever written?
This is near impossible too! this isn't the greatest book ever written, but I have always loved A Clockwork Orange.
5. Your key to happiness?
What could be more satisfying than working creatively with friends ?

We were thrilled on Sunday night when ultra glam Gwen Stefani arrived at the MTV Video Music Awards in a gorgeous leopard print gown. We were even more thrilled when Lindsay Lohan showed up in a not as gorgeous though very similar leopard gown. Who looked better, the platinum blonde bombshell or the skinny disheveled mess? Let us know what you think. We still cannot shake the thoughts of a possible catfight. Once again our money would be on Gwen, because she is down with Eve and Dre.
