The comments on Towleroad about the NYPD citations are PRICELESS--whine, whine, whine, boys. You broke the law and you're paying $25 for it. They should all be grateful that they didn't get taken in for being drunk and disorderly (because starting a riot is SUCH a good way not to be arrested)!
As for the DL...leave it to white guys to coopt everybody else's terms. Not that there's anything good about being on the DL, but clearly the white closet cases are missing the point and going out of their way to not tarnish their precious masculinity. Queens. And I have totally seen "DL" used as a racist slur for openly gay black men, usually by gay white haters who might as well join the Nazi party.
