• The case of a California high schooler's anti-gay T-shirt falls flat (along with his claims of First Amendment infringement), with the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeal opting not to hear the case. Instead the justices issued an opinion citing case history, which prohibits students from causing "substantial disruption" of normal school activity or infringing on the rights of other students. • The Mel Gibson fallout continues: New reports coming from a Reader's Digest interview include unpublished comments where Gibson calls the Holocaust a "numbers game." Meanwhile, Gibson's ICM publicist Ed Limato has gone on the record calling his client's remarks "inexcusable." [Fox 411, HWT]
• Jody Watley's was barred by producers from discussing her then upcoming performance at the Gay Games when she was a guest on Chicago’s V103. The radio station claims it's not homophobic — it just wanted to use all the time available to discuss her music. [WCMG]

• Via press release comes word that in August, Logo will launch the new reality series Jacob & Joshua: Nemesis Rising, which will chronicle the musical twin brothers' efforts to establish a music career — as out gay men.
I'm sure I'd understand the premise of the question better when it is amended to include all the left-wingers who are "sabotaging the gays," as well.
Raise your hands if anyone thinks that Malcontent will understand the point that it is almost entirely Republicans, who are the primary right leaning party in this country, that are setting forth legislation, rhectoric and policies designed to screw us gays. I know for the sake of justifying your own beliefs you want to pretend there is parity, but false equivalencies between the parties on the gay isssue is bullshit. The Democrats maybe cowards and dont always stand up for their values, but the Republicans are bashers. The one is not the equivalent of the other. You have a President of the right leaning party that uses us as a wedge issue for God sake- how much more do you need to admit who is doing what?

akaison (above) is 100% correct. The Democrats NEVER would have introduced or supported any anti-gay legislation EVER if not forced to do so by the Republican Noise Machine.
Have no doubt. The Democrats are not our enemy. Everyone in America seems to understand this except gay people. Everyone in America knows that the Republicans hate gay people and that is precisely why conservative America have persistently put Republicans in office in spite of the fact that it is against their own best interests to do so.
The Republican Party is our ONLY enemy. Period.
Well, besides the Roman Catholic Church & the goober thug Protestants.
Yes and Jacob and Joshua live in WeHo are from Montana and one of them is screwing the cute waiter from East West named Joshua
what i don't get is all this republican b.s. over gays, yet chaney has a lesbian daughter....or are they pulling a clockwork orange on her? or is she an excuse, as in 'well that's different because she's of republican stock'? i sure feel sorry for any republican's kids who want to come out but are too afraid of the witch and warlock hunt.
