Helene Weinstein Living La Vida Vagina?
Anti Gay-Nup Politico May Have Secret...

hweinsteinH.jpg
The New York Post ran a blind item this morning in which they intimated that an anti gay-marriage Brooklyn-based politician has been shacking up in Manhattan with her lesbian partner.

Well, those insatiable political gossips over at BlogActive did some digging and found an advert in the Gay City News reading:

Please call Assemblywoman Helene E. Weinstein from Brooklyn, chair of the Committee on Judiciary and ask her why she refuses to sponsor the same sex marriage legislation. Please education her as to why our same sex relationships matter and our right to marry is a civil rights issue. She can be reached at her office: 718-648-4700.
This politically motivated advert - which also thanks marriage supporters, such as openly gay Senator Tom Duane - led BlogActive to assume Weinstein to be the Post's politician. And it turns out they may be right:
Numerous activists and political sources in calls and emails with BlogActive have confirmed that Weinstein is the Assemblywoman mentioned in the New York Post item.
Are we the only ones who find the prospect of a lying labia-lover refreshing? Seriously, we usually have to deal with all those cock suckers - this is a welcome change of pace.

Yay for lying lesbians, I'm all for equal-opportunity assholery from fags and dykes alike.

But gosh from looking at her picture you would NEVER guess she's a big dyke. Never ever. Gee whiz!

Tom, FYI she's a Democunt.

I wish people would stop generalizing that everyone who is anti-gay marriage is a member of the GOP. That's stereotyping. We don't like it when "they" do it to us, so let's stop doing it to them. Polarization gets us nowhere.

Not only is Helene Weinstein against gay rights, she is against adoptees' rights. I am a heterosexual female adoptee who wants to see Bill A02277, the ADOPTEES BILL OF RIGHTS, passed this session. I am a supporter of gay rights too. Can we all gang up on Weinstein and get her kicked out of office or something? When you call to support gay marriage, please tell her to support ADOPTEES RIGHTS to their identity, also our civil rights!!!!

We can help each other!!!

I still do not understand how a politian can be gay and support anti-gay bills. Can anyone please explain?

jason says:

Paul, she's either a self-hating hypocrite with no guts and self-esteem or she's your run of the mill self-interested calculating politican who figures appeasing her voters supposed anti-gay bias is more important than standing up for equality and human rights because she wants to stay in office at any cost for the parking privileges. Or maybe she believes the gays don't deserve anything because she's an idiot. In any case, she deserves to be outed.

What is it with closeted, self-hating dyke politicians from Brooklyn. Consider:
Carol Bellamy
Liz Holtzman
Helene Weinstein

Paul Raposo says:

Thanks, jason. Unfortunately all those points make complete sense. I genuinely feel sorry for my American LGBTQ brothers and sisters. How are you suppose to make any progress against anti-gay people and their laws, if our own people are fighting against us?
