Asks For "Balanced" Child Support

mcmarried.jpg
The McGreevey divorce took another ugly turn yesterday when former New Jersey governor Jim McGreevey filed a more detailed custody request. The gay American previously asked of sole custody of his daughter with Dina McGreevey.

In papers filed Monday, however, the disgraced homo-politico insisted he wants to share custody, but did ask for some stipulations. For example, he has explicitly requested their daughter, Jacqueline, not join her mother on her impending book tour for her ghost written memoir, Silent Partner. Philadelphia's NBC affiliate reports:

In the latest filing, McGreevey accused his estranged wife of having the child be part of publicity interviews... The girl has been taken to the set of Good Morning America, been in Kelly Ripa's dressing room on the set of Kelly and Regis, and joined Matos McGreevey and Diane Sawyer for coffee, according to the motion.

"Jacqueline should not be taken on any publicity tours," McGreevey stated in the motion. "Jacqueline should not be involved in any media or publicity events related to either of the books written by the parties. Jacqueline will not accompany either parent to any book fairs, book signings, interviews or to such events where she may be subject to publicity."

Sitting in Ripa's dressing room and sipping with Sawyer hardly seem like publicity. In fact, it seems that McGreevey's parading of his daughter's "well-being" in the press brings her more ink than anything else. Further, meeting such influential and powerful women can only help his daughter, not hurt her. Wouldn't he want her to meet as many people as possible? He did, after all, tell the judge:
Dina and I both seek to serve the interests of our daughter. It is my hope the court would provide for an added measure of balance and nurturing of Jacqueline's interests.
Perhaps he has a slanted definition of "interest" - he's asked to take his daughter to Australia to meet his lover's parents. Hmm, meeting media giants or a boyfriend's parents? Not really balanced, but okay...

Is It As Gay As It Is Gross? You Be The Judge...

Because we know you faggots and friends of faggots love that alleged faggot, Anderson Cooper, we'd like to direct you over to Gawker. Once there, you'll find a video from the Coop's morning guest-stint with Kelly Ripa. Apparently Regis Philbin's out getting some surgery on a body part we've never heard of - a heart, or something.

No matter, the Gawksters describe the video clip as the "gayest moment alive". Hmm, we're not sure if moment's really have life force but, again, we wouldn't know anything about such biological matters. We will agree, however, that it's pretty gay. Also, Kelly Ripa totally doesn't give a fuck.

Not Surprisingly, Ripa Comes Out on Top

kellyr.jpg
It's tempting to get riled up over that Golan Cipel thing, but let's not forget another recent - yet just as homofied - scandal: the Rosie O'Donnell/Kelly Ripa/Clay Aiken feud.

Taking a deeper look at the issue, homo-journo Zack Hudson turned to the best source for journalistic musings: bloggers. While we never connected with Hudson, our pervaholic brother, Frank Griggs found time between snatching images of naked ruggers to speak on behalf of !! omg blog !!:

I think it’s impossible to say for sure if Kelly’s remarks were homophobic...My feeling is that they were not homophobic remarks, actually. Also, it’s such a common thing to say, ‘you don’t know where that hand’s been.’ I think that Rosie was overreacting [Emphasis added].

Griggs then excused himself to have a wank to pictures of Steve Tabary.

Jeremy Hooper from Good As You also piped in, saying: "If Ripa had meant it in even a slightly anti-gay way, she likely would have reacted in a more calculated, publicist-crafted way". And that's a fact, jack.

Philadelphia To Go Down Without A Fight

Rosie O'Donnell's name may have been run through the dirt over that whole Kelly Ripa/Clay Aiken thing, but that doesn't mean she's not down for a bit of fun. Though her and wife Kelli's family-oriented vacation company's (imaginatively known as R Family Vacations) most well-known for its adventures on the high seas, the ladies have moved this year's special to Philadephia.

Always the supportive wife - because, really, she hasn't much of choice - Kelli Gushes:

I am thrilled that R Family Vacations is offering its very first land-based vacation... A trip to Philadelphia is a great way to inspire your family to affect the future by learning the historical significance of our Constitution. Plus, you’ll get to experience R Family’s special brand of family fun.

Hmmm, education, inspiration and so-called R Family Fun? Hot damn! That sounds like hot damnation!

Seriously, we'd rather spend five months in hell than on some heart-warming week-long adventure with the gals. Why? Because we're heartless and all that so-called R Family Fun (bath with Rosie?) would only make it that much more apparent. It would just break our hearts...if we had hearts. Which we don't.

If any of you out there do have hearts and have any interest, tickets go on sale today. Get 'em fast, because we have a feeling they'll go like hot cakes. Or, like Rosie O'Donnell endorsed trips to Philadelphia.

Or, At Least, To The Mutual Respect

We've just received this link from our friends over at Good As You directing us to their post on a "feud" between Rosie O'Donnell and Kelly Ripa.

It seems Clay Aiken co-hosted with Ripa on last Friday's episode of Regis & Kelly (a television event we're actually sorry we missed). Apparently Aiken got a little cheeky with Ripa and put his hand over her mouth to which she replied, "I don't know where that hand has been".

Ever the gay-crusader, O'Donnell brought the issue up on The View, contending that Ripa's comment falls under the category "homophobic".

An avid watcher of The View, Ripa promptly called in to plead her case.

We've never been the biggest fan of Kelly Ripa - something about her bubbly personality goes against everything we believe - but we're inclined to believe her side. Needless to say, however, we wouldn't want Clay Aiken's hand on our mouths, either. And not because we're afraid of the flu...

We all prefer to match our fetching mustard Izod Ts with new Pumas instead of ugly, discolored teeth. So if you suffer from embarrassingly stained teeth, it's time to look into getting those suckers whitened. Here's how:

20050920_teeth.jpg

Skip the messy Crest White Strips and go straight for the toothpaste whitener. We like SuperSmile. Sure its almost 20 bucks a tube, but if its good enough for America's sweetheart Kelly Ripa, it's good enough for us. A much cheaper (and more natural) way to go is Tom's of Maine.

Or, let's say your coffee and cigarette habits rivals that of Britney Spears but your choppers don't. The girl can afford to have those pearly whites bleached and if you have a thousand bucks, so can you. There are several options including conventional or laser bleaching. Both involve trips to the dentist. Laser bleaching gives you the best improvement in the shade of your teeth but it's also the costliest procedure. Laser-free Britesmile is more affordable, gives you great results, and the price includes free before and after photos for you to take home. Woo-hoo.

Tooth whitening is safe but it's not for everyone! Check with your your dentist.
