pandering to the gay community? Give me a break... At least she is loyal and regardless of what you say she is genuine in her support just ask the thousands who have been helped by her who have HIV, Leukemia, etc. Madonna at least gives back to the communities who have made her the star she is. Unlike most of them who only indulge in themselves. I have leukemia if not for her very gracious support of around 35000 a month for my medications and chemo I'd be dead. I know several people who not only got help from her but even a friend who she covered his funeral after he passed. Not to mention the thosands of tickets that she has given to the disabled to see her tours and her vast support in the "Make A Wish Foundation" the millions she gave to help victims from Katrina, 911 etc. Its sad when people trash someone without a clue to what a blessing they are to others.

What is this bash Madonna week? No one has a reason to "hate" her. Not one of us really know her, however I do agree she is worthly of our worship. She has donated far more than any other singer to fight HIV, she was the 1st well known person to stand up for people with AIDS. She even supported many of her closest friends before anyone even knew what it was. Then you have to look at what Michael said its true that she has given millions upon millions to many causes since she first hit the charts in 1983. Just some of the Major Charities she has supported:

Some gay people just don't like Madonna or her music—fair enough. Totally respect that. But it's absurd to say she panders to the gay community, as if her connection with gay culture were phony and constructed only to bring her money or further her career. She's a lifer and there's ample proof of it. Plug your ears if you hate the tunes, but don't call her a fraudulent fag hag. I think some people who hate Madonna just do it because they don't want to be too ordinary. If too many gays are liking something, they want to dislike it—"I'm not ordinary!" It's the whole tired anti-gay thang. Fine, you're a fag apart. But again, even if she makes your ears bleed, you should be kissing the ass of Madonna—without her, the concept of any artist "pandering" to us would not even be possible. I'd rather put up with genuinely fake panderers who are desperately seeking Madonna's cred than go back to being considered box-office poison.

Most Gay men are not loyal. Madonna is. A lot of gay men could take a lesson from Madonna. Like Grow Up and get a spiritual life. Do something for someone else and save the negative comments. As I gay man I adore Madonna.

Madonna is the queen definitely. The gay community will be a lot less boring without her. She is an inspiration and her music keeps on improving. Her music never gets stale. She doesn't steral from anyone. She gives tributes or is inspired by almost everything before. Admit it, there is noone like Madonna.

What is not to like about Madonna?

I have been a fan of Madonna, since I was 7, in 1983.
Many has come and gone that dissed Madonna. But one thing is for sure she has opened up doors to many issues. And shoved it front page for the narrow minded people to be exposed to. (sexuality, homophobia, AIDS are just a few) Also back in 1992 when Mark Walburg, was Marky Mark, Madonna physically attack Marky Mark, for his homophobic remark at a party. So to all who say they hate Madonna, You only wish you have a pinch of her courage. That is the real reason you hate this woman.....

People pleeeze. Madonna at best is a hack with a vocal range that is limited. You all can drink the Kool-Aid if you want but give me singers like Annie Lennox, Sade, or Joss Stone. Women with pipes.

Madonna is love and light. If it wasn't for her artists like Christina, Gwen and Mariah would have no pathway. She is a pioneer for woman and gay men everywhere!

James needs to lay off the kool aid himself.. Madonna is not a hack and anyone who can perform as hard as her and not lip her entire shows like 99% of the do proves her vocal abilities. Madonna has pipes Evita proves that, her concerts prove that. She is the most reconized voice in the music business today.

I'm so glad to see other gays who aren't blind and realize this beast just uses the gay community. She doesn't give a shyt about gays- she just wants their money. How often do you see her hanging around gay men since she got married? And if she cared about her gay fans so much, she wouldn't be charging them $300 a ticket to see her.
