Marriage Debate Not Over In Massachusetts

Today the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts gave permission for the state legislature to approve a ballot measure that would enable voters to approve a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage. For the measure to make it onto the 2008 ballot, it only needs to be approved by 25% of the state legislature, which will undoubtedly happen because there are at least that many bastards with no conscience in any governmental body.

We can only hope that by 2008 there will be so many married gay people in Massachusetts that everyone will love their married, gay neighbors too much to vote for a ballot measure that discriminates against them. All you married gays take note: learn how to bake casseroles and other neighborly gifts now, before it's too late.
