The Princeton Barnes and Noble may have given new meaning to the word "prude" when they cancelled an event for Paws and Reflect: Exploring the Bond Between Gay Men and Their Dogs over two lines involving Alexander the Great and Aristotle's canine-fantasy, but that doesn't mean the kids at New York City's Chelsea outpost aren't willing to give it a go.
That's right, author Sharon Sakson will be reading from, chatting about and answering questions on her needlessly controversial first book. So, if you kids love gay people, love dogs or love gay people who love dogs (and, really, who doesn't?), head on over to the Chelsea Barnes and Noble to show Sakson some love.
Oh, if you're wondering which part of Sakson's book caused all that stink, here's the text (again):
When sixteen-year-old Alexander the Great would make love to his teacher Aristotle, he would do so roughly, forcing his way in with only a bit of saliva. He liked to hear rationality yelping like a dog.
